Do I have to check in at the front desk every time I come in?
Yes. Once all your information is entered in the computer, our check-in system is very simple and only takes a few seconds. Just type in your membership number and your photo will appear on the screen to validate your ID and record your visit in the computer. If you forget your number, just give your name to check in. This gives the front desk staff an opportunity to welcome you. If you have any questions or concerns, this is a great time to get those addressed
How do I learn to use the equipment?
It takes a while to learn all the pieces of equipment and what each one does. Your first two training appointments will include instruction on the equipment. If you have a question about a piece of equipment, please ask any staff member. You may also let the front desk know you have some questions so they can notify a staff member for you.

How do I get a locker when I visit the gym?
Lockers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We recommend you bring your own lock; however, we sell locks in the pro-shop in case you don’t have one. Lockers are provided for day use only; please do not leave any personal belongings overnight. We also have showers in both the men and women’s locker rooms for your convenience.
What if someone is using a piece of equipment I also want to use?
- If you are doing a total body workout, you can move to the next machine and come back when this piece of equipment is free.
- You can ask how many sets the other member has left and either “work in” or wait until they are finished.
- To share equipment with another member or “work in”, simply ask, “May I work in?” While that person is resting, you can do your set. When you take your turn, finish your set or exercise in a timely manner. Then allow the other member a turn rather than resting on the equipment between sets.

When do I know it’s my turn to use a piece of cardio equipment?
If all pieces of cardio equipment are occupied, we ask that you limit your time to 30 minutes to allow other members access to the equipment. If you are waiting for a specific piece of equipment, simply let the person on the machine know that you wish to go next. We also recommend you give some thought to your workout time so you have the best chance of coming when the gym is the least busy. Our busiest times are usually in the early morning (7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.) and early evening after 4:30 p.m.
Who will help me if I have a problem or complaint?
Voice yourself to any appropriate staff. If you have a suggestion, complaint or compliment, comment cards are available at the front desk. We will either address the concern immediately or contact you for more information.

Where are you located?
We are located at 2835 N. Nebraska Avenue. This is on the North side of York, just across from Orscheln’s. We are located at the junction of highway 34 and 81.
How does your tanning and aqua massage work?
Tanning and Aqua Massage appointments can be made by calling the front desk at (402)362-1929. Our tanning goes by sessions, not by minutes. We offer single session packages as well as 10-session and 25-session packages. Our aqua massage bed gets booked by the minute. You may purchase as many minutes as you wish for the aqua massage bed.
What kind of pool do you have?
Our pool is not full size, it is a therapy pool, however, it has a jet on one end to swim or walk against. There are also four more jets on the side of the pool right next to a bench. This area of the pool is often used as a whirlpool by members. The pool is always kept nice and warm, and is open for our members to use anytime they wish. The bars on the side of the pool also make it easy to do different exercises while in the pool.
